Comparison of Goniometry and Video Analysis in Measuring Shoulder Range of Motion of Collegiate Athletes

Background: The shoulder joint’s multiplanar motion creates a challenge in measurement of range (ROM). Goniometry is currently the most common tool for measuring ROM clinic due to its ease use, but subjective nature. Video capture rigs have become popular all facets monitoring, they can be limited large open spaces and user discrepancy. Further, with wireless wearable inertial units (IMUs) has also often cost/implementation prohibitive. Understanding consistency between these recording methods must established understand if therapy impacts complex.
 Methods: Student athletes complaints pain decreased their dominant arm were separated into cohorts receiving twelve sessions.
